Lisa Barrott speaks to ecancer at UKONS 2019 in Telford about a workshop session held at the meeting on improvements in patient safety.

She explains that the workshop focused on encouraging nurses who are responsible for assessing patients to utilise tools to improve the techniques they use.

Bartott highlights some of the tools discussed in the session and speaks about why a workshop format was important in this session.

She stresses that these skills particularly important right now due to the national shortage of nurses.
