Dr Florence Manjuh - Mboppi Baptist Hospital, Douala, Cameroon

Dr Manjuh Florence describes the Women’s Health Program of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services, a nurse-led initiative providing integrated women’s health services. The programme includes cervical cancer prevention, breast cancer early detection, family planning and management of reproductive tract infections. She explains the programme’s one-stop model, outreach clinics for rural and conflict-affected communities, and the use of a mother–child approach to cancer prevention.

Dr Florence also highlights the central role of nurses in delivering quality cancer care and encourages oncology nurses to step into leadership and policy roles. She reflects on her involvement in regional cancer organisations and the importance of amplifying nurses’ voices in cancer research and care.
