In rural West Bengal, access to quality primary healthcare has been severely limited.
After opening up a number of economically sustainable hospitals for the area, Dr Satadal Saha set up the organisation JSV Innovations in order to create a sustainable low-cost primary healthcare and health education model.
The programme has taken a focus on cervical cancer, due to the lack of process for detection and vaccination in India, and is innovating ways to change the landscape and significantly improve care.
