Prof Catherine West speaks to ecancer.tv about the radiogenomics consortium. This consortium is a large-scale international pool of genetic data introduced to allow clinicians to predict individual patient response to radiotherapy. Prof West discusses what the project is aiming to achieve, how data will be collected, what conclusions can be drawn from this data, how the project will allow small scale research to contribute despite the large amount of total data needed and the challenges that must still be overcome.
