The iManageCancer project, of which ecancer is a member, aims to improve the lives of people living with chronic illnesses like cancer by harnessing the power of mobile phone technology, and helping those with cancer take control of their disease.

The project is a European research activity to empower patients and strengthen their capability to manage their diseases through novel health apps and secure eHealth services.

This short video introduces the iManageCancer apps being developed and is available in English, German and Italian.

The vision for the apps is to provide practical and emotional support for cancer patients during the process of receiving treatment.

The apps help patients communicate more effectively with their doctors and other supporters, and provide tools that will help living lives that are as normal as possible
