Prof Carol Bradford - University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, USA

Prof Bradford speaks with ecancertv at the IFHNOS 2016 session in Moscow about the growing prevalence of HPV-related throat cancers.

She describes early HPV-related oral cancers as typically easier to treat, and occurring in younger patients, than those resulting from tobacco or alcohol.

Prof Bradford also notes the delay between current vaccination efforts and when those patients will reach an age by which the vaccine will have proved its use, and encourages wider uptake of HPV vaccination.
