Dr Olubukola Ayodele speaks to ecancer about her highlights from London Global Cancer Week 2025 as the Event Chair.

She explains that theme of this year's meeting was 'Cancer health disparities: from awareness to action' with the meeting looking to spotlight people that are taking action to reduce the inequity that we see in cancer care.

Dr Ayodele highlights some of the topics covered at the meeting and also the winners of the Vanessa Moss prize, which featured research from early-career researchers in India, Mexico, France, Nigeria, Ghana and more.
