Dr Bishal Gyawali - Queen's University, Kingston, Canada

Dr Bishal Gyawali shares his thoughts and advice on how to practice evidence-based oncology, particularly for trainees from lower and middle-income countries (LMICs).

He explains the importance of knowing the trial data behind every intervention so that you can be confident in your decision making and not to just use a treatment simply because others are using it.

Dr Gyawali encourages trainees to read every trial that affects their everyday clinic and to also organise a resource containing all the trials for a particular cancer type which can be quickly referred to.
