Conquering Cancer, a global communications initiative that is showing the world that cervical cancer elimination is achievable everywhere is being launched on March 26th 2021.
The campaign includes a suite of films, images, inspirational stories and a 60 minute feature documentary scheduled for release in September 2021.
The materials support and highlight the World Health Organisation’s cervical cancer elimination strategy of vaccination, screening and treatment.
The Union for International Cancer Control, the American Cancer Society, Cancer Council Australia, Moonshine Agency and several other cancer control groups have worked together on the project. Roche is the presenting partner of the campaign.
Videos and materials will be released in multiple languages and target key decision makers who can drive demand for HPV vaccination, cervical screening and proper cervical cancer care programs in their regions.
The campaign will amplify the achievements of countries where elimination is imminent by sharing inspiring stories from cervical cancer survivors and healthcare professionals who are taking action towards worldwide elimination.
Moonshine Agency specialises in visual communication and impact films that inspire new ideas and move humanity forward.
Conquering Cancer embodies the team’s passion for telling authentic stories that matter and ignite positive change.
Sue Hill, co founder of Moonshine Agency and producer of Conquering Cancer said “Centuries of work and billions on billions of dollars has been spent in the fight to rid humans of cancer, now for the first time in human history we have everything we need to eliminate the forth most common cancer in women: cervical cancer. If we achieve this, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of women will be prevented. We need to get this done.”
Cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable, but it is still the fourth most common cancer found in women globally and causes more than 300,000 deaths each year.
Conquering Cancer is capturing the worldwide efforts being made to eliminate the disease and bring attention to countries where preventative innovations are most needed.
Moonshine Agency is calling on everyone to follow this monumental journey and join the movement. You can connect with the campaign on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the website.

We are an independent charity and are not backed by a large company or society. We raise every penny ourselves to improve the standards of cancer care through education. You can help us continue our work to address inequalities in cancer care by making a donation.
Any donation, however small, contributes directly towards the costs of creating and sharing free oncology education.
Together we can get better outcomes for patients by tackling global inequalities in access to the results of cancer research.
Thank you for your support.
